現在、タヒチの東方約３００海里付近を航行しています。
やや風波があるものの、順調な航海です。
本日の夕食はアサリご飯、サバの味噌煮、枝豆とレンコン高菜炒め、汁物です。

Today, on our second day at sea, we sailed the seven seas with clear skies, a calm sea, and the wind at our back. After a rather rough time of it on the first day at sea, most of the students appear to be getting their sea legs and everybody seems to be in high spirts and to be enjoying the trip. During the afternoon, the students took to the deck to play catch, keep-away soccer, and practice their dance moves for their upcoming performance.

We just finished dinner and the air is filled with song as they sing while cleaning up. Next comes a surprise birthday party for one of their peers. It is truly wonderful to see all the students having so much fun together. Another smooth day of sailing on the Bosei Maru.

今日は、一日中船に慣れるための自由時間でした。それぞれが好きな事をして過ごし、充実した時間を過ごせていたと思います。一日中晴れていたので後部甲板でダンス、サッカーや筋トレなどをする学生もおり、徐々に船内生活に慣れてきたのではないかと思います。

研修が始まってから初めての洗濯日でしたが、それぞれの班が話し合って協力しながらうまく回せていけました。これをこれからも続けていきたいと思います。

また、今日は2月12日、13日で20歳になる誕生日の二人をみんなでお祝いしました。ギターやキーボードに合わせてみんなで誕生日ソングを歌って、記念写真を撮りました。船の揺れで集まれなかった人もいましたが、気持ちはみんなで一つです。小さなことでもみんなで団結して喜び合い、そして、辛い事でも乗り越えていきたい気持ちでいっぱいです。

明日からは、クラブ活動が始まるのでまた新しい人との交流を積極的にしていきたいと思います。
